ISE Announces New TECHForum Education Event, April 11, 2019, in the Chicagoland area

ISE is excited to host a NEW one-day educational live event in the Chicagoland area featuring education and technology solutions for existing and next-generation networks. Wireline and wireless infrastructure trends, use cases and best practices, and network evolution strategies including LTE to 5G, SDWAN, Fiber Expansion and SDN/NFV in the real world, will be presented at this one-of-a-kind event.

Growing demand for mobile video, data, IoT and AI require robust networks to meet service-level expectations, emerging technologies, ensure security and remain competitive.

“Today’s workforce must be prepared for the sea change in future network build-outs by developing the knowledge and skill sets needed to design, install and maintain the infrastructure and equipment behind them” said Janice Oliva, President of ISE.

For the latest products, technologies and network solutions, participants will have a chance to attend BICSI and ETA accredited seminars, engage one-on-one with exhibiting companies and attend executive keynotes and Tech Talk presentations from industry experts.

Opening Keynote: Understanding the Transformational Effect of 5G Wireless Technology

Chris Pearson, President of 5G Americas, will kick off the forum at 9:00am. Attendees will learn about the changes that will occur with next-generation 5G networks and how connectivity is changing all aspects of commerce, entertainment, public safety, health and well-being.

Challenges and Key Drivers of Network Optimization, Focus of Closing Keynote

Rodney Heil, Senior Director of Network Optimization at Windstream, will wrap up the day’s learnings with his keynote presentation where he’ll discuss the primary challenges with network optimization as well as the key drivers for pursuing it.
